Lawrence & Terri Weiner

Lawrence & Terri Weiner Lawrence Jay Weiner and his wife, Terri P. Tepper, are Hall of Fame'ers due to their unsurpassed service to old and young alike. Terri is a published author and professional photographer. She is a former elementary school teacher and former President of the Barrington Branch of the AAUW. Grandma Terri, as she is called, commuted for 13 months from Barrington, IL, to White Plains, New York, to be the volunteer Nanny for grandchild Laura. She also plays the dulcimer and piano in her "spare time".

Lawrence Weiner is the Founder and 12-year member of Buehler YMCA; current founding and executive Board member of Barrington New Generations (a teen youth organization) and current mentor for Harvard Law School Mentor Program for Chicago Public Schools. "Poppy Lawre", as he is called, also writes books for grandchildren. Both Grandma Terri and Poppy Lawre seek to establish a special loving relationship with their three grandchildren, introducing them to as many diverse environments, people and experiences as possible such as music conservatory, art classes, reading, the circus, zoos, parks, etc.

Grandma Terri holds twins, Hannah & Grace. She was known as the "commuting Nanny." Photo to right is sample of Terri's talent as a photographer (or perhaps a sample of Laura's Beauty?).
